Was the pyramid of Egypt built before Moses and Joseph, and what is the connection of Ramses with the pyramid in Moses’ time?

The construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza predates the biblical figures Moses and Joseph. The Great Pyramid, believed to have been built for Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops in Greek), was likely constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, around 2580–2560 BCE. Moses and Joseph, according to biblical accounts, are associated with later periods in Egyptian history.

The biblical narrative places Moses during the time of the Exodus, which is commonly dated to the 13th century BCE. Joseph, on the other hand, is traditionally associated with the period of the Israelites' migration to Egypt and their subsequent enslavement. The biblical timeline places Joseph several centuries before Moses, during a time when the pyramids, including the Great Pyramid, had already been built.

Regarding Ramses (often identified with Ramses II), he is associated with a later period in Egyptian history, known as the New Kingdom. Ramses II ruled from around 1279 to 1213 BCE. While Ramses II is not directly linked to the construction of the pyramids, he is sometimes associated with the biblical narrative due to the mention of the city of Ramses in the Bible in connection with the Israelites' enslavement. The city of Ramses is believed by some scholars to have been built later than the time of Joseph and Moses, during the reign of Ramses II.

It's important to note that the biblical accounts and archaeological evidence are interpreted and understood differently by scholars, and there are various perspectives on the historical accuracy and timelines of these events.
