What is wrong with India?

The mentality of Indian people is the biggest flaw in India.

Recently I visited Gol Gumbaz at Bijapur, it is a monument built by the emperor Adil Shah and is currently a heritage site.

There are ‘pay to use toilets’ in the areas and the fee is meager 2 rs. All the villagers, drivers, cleaners, Vendors and even foreign nationals were using the toilets.

A lady and her son (5–6 years old) are walking and the son wants to pee. The mother instructs the child to go to the corner and pee.

Mind you these were well educated people and were speaking English like there was no end to it.

I went to them and said ‘madam there is a toilet and pointed to the spot’.

To which the lady’s husband got offensive and said “Tera Baap ka Jagah hai kya”.

I had to say sorry because I pointed out to him that he was dirtying my nation.

This is wrong with India. There will never be a swach bharat because it hurts people’s ego to use the same public toilets which people below their level use.
