What is Islam's views on Hinduism?

Islam, like many other major religions, has diverse views on other faiths, including Hinduism. It's important to note that Islam, as a religion, doesn't have a monolithic perspective, and individual beliefs may vary among Muslims. Generally, Islam recognizes the Abrahamic religions (Judaism and Christianity) as earlier revelations and considers them as "People of the Book." Islam sees a common lineage with these religions through the prophets.

Regarding Hinduism, perspectives within Islam can vary. Some Muslims may view Hinduism as a valid religious tradition, while others may not consider it as a monotheistic faith. Islam emphasizes the oneness of God (Allah) and might differ in theological aspects from some Hindu beliefs.

It's crucial to approach discussions about religious views with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of beliefs within both Islam and Hinduism. Individual interpretations and cultural influences play a significant role in shaping people's perspectives.
