When you spend your vacation here in Vienna you might want to go on a shopping spree a swell. You will find great buys and you can get a lot of interesting handmade items as well. This refreshing and airy city will has a lot to offer to you and you can find yourself severely tempted if you see what they have for sale.

This beautiful city has a lot of shopping districts and department stores. Most of locals will recommend the Mariahilferstrasse. This long name has a long street and has a lot f stores where you will find a varied selection of merchandise. Most of the locals and tourist do their basic shopping here.

If you are looking for places to purchase souvenirs, the souvenir shop districts can be found in Innere Stadt. The district has wide pedestrian lanes giving a wide berth for busy shoppers who hold on to bid packages. You will also a lot of high end shops and products being sold here. Mozart fans will get a great kick outing here - you can see his face and likeness sin almost all shops.

In Kunsthandwerksmarkt am Karlsplatz you will find unique buys in their markets there are a lot of charming items which do not really cost much. There also a lot of hand crafted items which you will want to inspect. There are also attractions made especially for children so they can play around while their parents take a break.

If you are looking for gift shops then you will find a lot in the streets of Vienna. One of the famous gift shops can be found in a hotel in the street of Kaertner Strasse. The Sacher Torte has a lot f charming items and many tea sets.

You might also want to try visit the Adventzauber am Rasthausplatz. It has a fairy tale aura in it and tiny kids can enjoy story book telling, train and pony riding when their parents take a break from shopping. You can find a lot of merchandise here and outside the stores the scenic view is great. You will find that shopping in Vienna can be a refreshing and exciting experience.
