Fashion Takes a Novel Twist with the Latest, Hot Shutter Shades

By John Stabler

Shutter shades are fast becoming one of the hottest fashion styles for sunglasses all around the world. These trendy 'sunnies', which made their debut in the fashion market three years ago, are actually an imitation & remake of the 80s. Their increasing popularity can be explained by variety of styles, colors, features, & functions they accommodate.

At first, shutter shades were purely a fashion statement, an accessory that was distinct, chic, & out of the ordinary. Initially, they were just sunglasses that had horizontal shutters over large-framed sunnies. But over time, they have been revolutionized & specialized to cover a wider range of functions & to fit a wider range of styles. Today you can choose if you want your shades to have shutters on the entire lens, or just on the top half or bottom half. You can also opt if the shutters are horizontal or vertical.

Shutter shades come in a variety of present-day designs, colors, and sizes. You will be able to select from neon tones, metallic tints, or futuristic appearing colors if you're seeking the offbeat flavor. Then there are marvelous shutters that glow in the dark which are ideally suited for going to clubs or parties with your friends. A few designs include aviator, dark, and sloped shutters. Essentially, the less balanced & eccentric your shades are, the cooler & voguish they turn.

Another feature of these 'sunnies' is that they have more recently appeared with real sunglass lenses. For those who are seeking to make a fashion statement as well as achieve protection from harmful rays from the sun, shutter shades may be an excellent idea to consider.

Similar to other sunglasses, shutter shades are constructed in assorted shapes like oval, round, and squarewhich can accommodate most any face size. If you are determining which glasses match your face shape, just keep with th Commons rules of basic sunglasses.
