Confessions of a Shopaholic Online Watch

By Scott Pikeman

What was The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic in Europe, turned to Confessions of a Shopaholic upon reaching U.S. The first one from the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella (penname for Madeline Wickham) focused on Rebecca/Becky Bloomwood - the main character; she despite being a financial journalist, is heavily burdened by loans, one of the darker sides of being a shopping addict.

Becky knows of her lack of knowledge in managing personal finance, yet she is reluctant to take any appropriate measure. She keeps on running into more debt (through credit card) and her affinity for designer homeware, fashionable apparel and beauty products now backfire, worsening her debts. To keep up with her habits, she starts accepting offers from other credit card companies and starts spending wisely. Instead of buying whatever she likes, she invested, with great care, on expensive birthday gifts for her friends in advance.

Her intense shopaholic habits now start affecting her professional life. On her way to a press conference, she spots a shop displaying a bargain sign and a scarf inside it. She forgot her card in the office, so manages the owner to hold it till the day ends. She now plays to get her card, or the scarf; she manages the latter after creating some mid-sized scenes at the press conference. This event led her to the biggest heartbreak of her life. As a result, she turned all the more averse to rectifying her financial status despite repeated requests from the manager of the bank. What she does instead is taking a weird but crafty roller coaster ride towards putting it up.

However, Becky has someone who is a financial well-wisher for her; its the manager of the bank she holds an account with. He tries to extend help for her to get out of the debt, to which, Becky is always deaf and blind. Instead, she finds a list of eligible millionaires and though she sets up a ploy to settle her financial problems with help from her choice, she finally backs off. What follows from here is a bizarre roller coaster ride that shall strike a viewer with awe and you could be that awe-stricken person as well, if you knew how to get hold of a copy of the movie.

No, you do not require buying the DVD; instead, get it downloaded from the Internet. There are many a licensed websites that have come up of recent, bringing at your fingertips a large array of movies including the latest ones. Costly, isnt it? You must be asking, but stay rest assured that its not so. And nothing shall prove a better choice to you if you happen to be a habitual spender on objects of entertainment, for it shall put a stop on buying expensive DVDs or traveling considerable distances just for watching a single movie.
