Deciphered: A mysterious clay tablet reveals an ancient account of a catastrophic asteroid impact that devastated Sodom and Gomorrah 5,000 years ago. The tablet, known as the Planisphere, found by Victorian archaeologist Henry Layard in Nineveh's Royal Palace library, was recently studied by rocket scientists Alan Bond and Mark Hempsell. Using celestial data, they pinpointed the sighting on the tablet to the early hours of June 29, 3123 BC.
The tablet describes an Aten-type
asteroid resembling a 'stone bowl' hurtling through the sky, which eventually
collided with the Otz Valley, causing a massive explosion and landslides. This
theory challenges the biblical narrative of Sodom's destruction with fire and
brimstone.
