Every sort of job has stress. Some jobs have less stress while others have too much stress. Stressful jobs have great impact on a human body and mind. Although people prefer less stressful jobs but it is not always possible to get what one wants. Here are some of the most stressful jobs around.

Working in IT is by far the most stressful job around. Statistics shows that 97 percent IT professionals find their work much stressful. The stress begins even before people enter their work stations.

The medical profession also brings in a lot of stress. Brain storming is one of the main features in this profession. They have to study and apply the knowledge simultaneously on a regular basis. They hardly get any time for their own. They also go through a lot of stress during the time of surgeries. A lot of concentration is needed in the operation theatre. Doctors have to deal with the daily stress of having so many people depend on them.

Stress also affects the engineering professionals. Engineers need to complete their job very precisely as a little mistake can damage their professional life. Maximum security is another main requirement of their job.

Sales and marketing jobs are also very stressful. Professionals on sales department always remain busy in maintaining extreme pressure of customers. They can hardly manage time for even urinating when customer pressure is high. They also need to have high patience and deal nicely with the customers. Marketing professionals also go through a lot of stress. New ideas are always required for the marketing professionals to maintain their job.

Teaching is another largely stressful job. The main purpose of the teacher is to provide good education. Teachers have to deal with a lot of pressure in the classroom. Other than taking class, they have to execute another highly toilsome work of examining the exam scripts. Teachers are constantly feel like they need to fix the problems of their students.

Finance professionals also suffer from their own stress. They need to be very careful with the accounts. If any miscalculation occurs, their jobs get threatened. A productive service is always expected from the clients.

HR (Human Resource) administrators have to endure extreme workload. Their job is not at all easy and requires a lot of concentration. They remain stressed sometimes.

People who work at production sector have many tough duties. From manager to machine operator, all have to remain extremely busy. Moreover, they have to maintain product quality as well as tight deadlines. The production sector workers put a lot of pressure on their brains.

Clerical jobs can also be regarded as very stressful. They need to follow the orders from the upper level and also meet the demands of the clients.

That is quite a list of high pressure careers. Professionals find their jobs more stressful when they are undervalued or pay is insufficient. Constants deadlines tend to produce a lot of stress. Too much of stress reduces one's longevity. Thus, enough rest and balanced diets can help stay healthy. Recreation also helps people get rid of the monotony that comes with stress.
