Before Islamic invaders came in Sindh Province (present day Pakistan) all Residents were Hindu Sindhis. Only after Islamic invaders came, they started to forcefully convert Hindu People into Muslims. At the time of Partition ; again Muslims (this time having bigger than earlier population) forced Hindu Sindhis by giving them 2 options: 1) Accept Islam , 2)Leave from Pakistan (that too without any property and anything. They were still killing them who were leaving country by trains and Ship) Some chose 3rd option which was like: Live there as a Hindu if you think you have good contacts with influential people in your area but don't expect any humane behaviour by Muslim residents. We treat all people whether Muslim or Hindus equally in India however in Pakistan if you are Hindu or Christian or Sikh be ready to face any situation at any time. So the final answer is: All Indian Sindhi come in the Hindu Group, Most of Pakistani Sindhis are Muslims but some Hindu Sindhis are still there, most of Sindhis globally are more likely to be Hindu because at time of Partition they left(to avoid forced conversion) for some other country instead of India.
