Where is ancient Babylon located?

 Ancient Babylon, one of the most significant cities of ancient Mesopotamia, is located in present-day Iraq. The ruins of Babylon are situated near the modern city of Hillah, Babil Province, approximately 85 kilometers (53 miles) south of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
