More than three years ago in 2020,fifty Muslim families in Barmer came back to Sanatan. The Ram Mandir movement encouraged these men and women to take the big leap.
Barmer is a desert district in Rajasthan and adjoins Pakistan. Over the past several centuries, pirs and fakirs have converted thousands of Bhils (Scheduled Tribe Hindus) to Islam using threat and greed. Many of these converted Mlechhas live in border areas and pose a security threat to Indian Army. These people also indulge in smuggling and are pally with Pakistan’s ISI.
One of the Bhils who reverted to Hindu Dharma told media that though he was Muslim, his lifestyle was Hindu. There were 50 such families who retained their Hindu identity while sporting Muslim names. Now that Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is being built, this man said, it makes sense to come back to their original religion and discard Islam.
I think, many Hindus became Muslim because they perceived Islam as a stronger religion than Hindu Dharma. Islam was also a religion of the affluent as most of the rulers in the medieval era were Muslim. But now that Hindus are uniting politically and are becoming wealthier, many Muslims have begun Ghar Wapsi. This is a good sign and we must promote Ghar Wapsi campaigns.
