Natural Alternatives To Prescription Drugs

In the advent of modern science most people tend to overlook herbal medicine and some only view this form of medicine as an inferior version of treatment. But the truth of the matter arises whenever we think about our fore fathers. In all cases, they did not have the modern technology we have currently. They used herbal medicines to treat the diseases they had back then, despite the fact that we have these modern science we have to acknowledge the fact that natural alternatives to prescription drugs works.

Modern medication has proved to be fast and effective in terms of treating the set disease, but the flip side of prescribed drugs is the side effects. Many of the prescribed drugs come with side effects that many people do not think about, they range from addictions to headaches and some even lead to formation of other diseases. These side effects are not a common issue among the users of raw medication. This is because natural remedies have no remnants in the body that may cause the side effects.

Most natural alternatives to prescribed medicine are free and in the case that they are not free they are relatively cheaper than the other option. The factor of cost comes into play due to the process of manufacturing, storing and distribution of these medication. In cases of raw drugs these costs are rarely applicable or are applicable in a minor way.

In most cases in the modern society people tend to go for prescription medicine this is because of its accuracy to which they treat the ailment but on the other end they tend to overlook the advantages raw drugs offer. We all know that they are from nature but in many instances these remedies not only cure the ailment but also adds more nutrients to the body.

Aloe Vera is considered a mother plant in medication when it comes to other alternatives. This is because it contains nutrients that most other plants have in limited capacities. One of the remedies that aloe Vera is known to cure the skin rushes, on the other end were it to be treated by prescription sulphur would be used, but sulphur has a disadvantage of burning the skin and scaring it. This mostly is not a common case in natural remedies.

Modern prescribed medication is given in exact quantities depending on the ailment and the state of the disease. Whenever the rule of quantity is not followed then it has effects. In cases where one does not take the prescribed amount there is a high chance of not being cured and in the event where one takes too much then there is the possibility of being overdosed and may be fatal. These extremes rarely occur in natural alternatives since its from nature.

Modern science is also turning to non-artificial alternatives to cure diseases and ailments. The use of leach to suck up blood clots and swells is a natural method that is used in modern science. They use this method instead of using pumps to siphon out the blood.

Currently the number of users of these remedies is slowly rising. This is due to the awakening of people to the advantages of using natural medication.
