Simple Ways to Care For Dry Skin

Dry skin, isn't totally a consequence of ageing. Other environmental factors say, a good deal sun exposure or extreme cold can contribute to the fast drying out of the skin. It's been known that chronic dry skin can lead to premature wrinkle formation among people. Even individuals in their late 20s, who endure dry skin can manifest forehead wrinkles or eye wrinkles. But the pleasant news is, explained below are straightforward tips to take care of dry skin, to keep the wrinkles in check!

1. Drink 6-8 tumblers of water on a daily basis to rehydrate from the inside out!

2. Use mild, organic soap - without the harmful chemicals abundant in commercial face and body wash products. Natural soaps incorporating Aloe Vera, cocoa butter, avocado oil or other plant oils are glorious for stopping dry skin.

3. Do the "pat-towel" system when drying off from the shower or bath. Do not rub your skin because this will dry the moisture out.

4. Moisturize daily and nightly. A great moisturizer has properties of a skin anti-wrinkle cream or an anti-aging cream. Moisturizers with glycerin are suitable for dry skin. Glycerin is an important ingredient found in a lot of organic soaps. It is useful in binding moisture into the skin thereby stopping water evaporation. This property proves to be really favorable when the natural moisture barrier of your skin is exhausted.

5. Apply Petrol Jelly. For extremely dry skin, petrol jelly can provide fast relief and it may be employed as a barrier to stop the skin from flaking and cracking.

6. Don't forget your SPF 1! When you are going out and will have a good chance of sun exposure, make it a routine to apply your suntan lotion before putting on the moisturizer. Apply it first and wait for about 15 to 20 minutes to allow the sunscreen time to be completely absorbed into the skin.
