As you can imagine, Italian olive oil is one of many products to consider in tandem with darker bottles and one of the reasons for this is because of how the bottles can protect antioxidants. According to authorities on the matter like Unaprol, sunlight is this oil's worst enemy, as it can strip away the healthful components of the product in question. As a result, you are left with oil that is not nearly as beneficial as it should. That is, of course, unless it is placed in darker bottles instead.

While on the subject of dining, it seems as though just about every type of wine is stored in some sort of tinted bottle, for one reason or another. Perhaps they will be darker or maybe it will just be a matter of them being colored differently like green or amber. Regardless of what the case may be, darker bottles work well because they protect the healthful components of wine, vitamin C included. If you want to choose the best wine for any occasion, always keep an eye out for bottles with deeper tints.

What about the types of products which are not meant to be consumed, you may wonder? Hydrogen peroxide is a tremendous example, as it is a product that is typically stored in darker bottles and understandably so. It is important to keep in mind that if this product is exposed to light for great stretches of time, it can become water or transform into oxygen. If you want your bottle of hydrogen peroxide to hold up over the course of time, darker bottles are recommended.

The common theme that can be seen here is sunlight, which can impact a number of said products negatively. Keep in mind that there are many other products which are kept in bottles with darker hues as well, all for the purpose of health.
