If you have acquired a new one, detach the previous ones by using some screw or the hammer. See to it that those new boards have identical lengths to the previous ones. Attach the newer boards afterward. Start to nail them from top up to bottom for easy adjustments.

When you need to repair the post, you must first be sure that it is not loose. You could easily repair a loose one by screwing that tightly. Be sure that the posts are not rotten. You can check that by digging the ground at the base and poking the buried part of the posts. If you felt that it became soft, have it replaced.

Purchase all the materials you need before you remove the post. Next is to remove the post using a crow bar or just cut the nails using a saw. Dig the soil at its base and then remove it from the ground. Once it is out, place a post which is identical on its size. Nail it back so that it will be attached.

If the entire frame is sagging, repairing it would not be simple. You should have more knowledge on doing it. If it is a gate frame, check if the hinges are loose. If they are loose, replace the hinges with the heavier hinges. If the screws are not fit for the gate, remove the screws and replace it with the longer screws.

Check its frames. Check if one of it is leaning or is damaged. If there is a leaning frame, use a turnbuckle and some steel wires to reinforce it. Run the wires diagonally starting from the top and then to the bottom. Tighten the wires until the frame which is leaning becomes reinforced.

We must always have our fences maintained or fixed immediately. We should check if it is still in its good condition. A well kept fence is essential to ones home. It assures you that there is security and privacy in your house.
