Nourish Your Baby's Mind With Letter Art

By Jan Brightley

Health, happiness and success - these are just some of the things every parent wants for his/her child. This is why many parents want to create the very best environment for their babies, starting with the nursery. A great way to help build a wonderful, learning environment for your baby is with the use of Alphabet Pictures.

Infuse Creativity in Your Baby's Room

Letter art, numbers, and shapes placed in a creative way around the room can start teaching the baby early on. Their minds might be fuzzy at first but the repetition of seeing the same thing every morning will begin to stick in their mind. This is similar to the repetition of a parent saying 'dada' or 'mama' over and over.

On the other hand, if you'd like your baby to always be reminded of someone like her grandma (who may not always be around), it is also a good idea to post their picture atop the cabinet or on the wall. This will ensure that your baby knows who grandma is everytime she visits.

Colors also play a role in setting your nursery's ambiance. Painting it with wild or overly bold colors may be a cause for distraction and hinder your baby's learning. Besides, even for adults, it's difficult to relax and be at peace in a psychedelic room. With that being said, neutral colors are recommended.

From birth to three is one of the most vital times for a baby to learn. Having creative alphabet photos can guide your baby to better know his or her letters. The more they see something, the more they remember. To wake up to words that say 'I love baby!' over their bed is a great introduction.

Probably the best way to capture your baby's attention and interest is through Letter Photography. It's certain that your little one will be more interested in real baby pictures than of baby drawings.

Photography letters is a unique and creative way of showing your child's name and can be hung in their nursery wall. This will make it easier for your baby to recognize his name, when he sees it elsewhere. Other great ideas for unique wall art would be positive words like "love", "hope", "believe", etc. These would be good additions to any room.

A nursery is a mind-boggling task for all parents, new and old. It is a room that the new arrival rests in, plays in, and learns in.

As responsible parents, it is your duty to make sure to prepare the best nursery for your baby.

Other important tips to remember:

* Dark Window Shades/Black Out Curtains, it helps the baby sleep longer!

* The dresser can double as a changing station for baby.

* Refrain from using mobile. It distracts older babies from sleeping.

* A futon or guest bed in the room is very helpful for new mommies trying to catch some extra winks!

* Encourage learning while bonding with your child. Make sure to have a reading table in the baby's room.

* Night lights are not necessary since the baby is not afraid of the dark.
