What Are The Common Concepts That NCLEX Cheat Sheets Must Have

By Nita McKinney

Passing the nursing licensure exam will give you an innate feeling of appreciation and not passing it will give you an opposite feeling. You might be pressured because of the comment of others regarding them not passing it. Thinking of them might only amplify your anxiety. You must not waste your time listening to them but instead start reviewing by making your NCLEX cheat sheets.

It is good to focus on the upcoming exam than to be affected by negative thoughts of not passing the exam. Instead of thinking that you will not make it, why not start reviewing. Pressure can always happen to remind you that you have an exam to pass.

To start off, it is a good technique when you use mnemonics in studying. ABC is easier to remember. A will stand for airway to check if it is clear. Then B for breathing oxygen that will be transported around the body and C for circulation where cardiac arrest and hypoxia happen.

It is significant to review the most basic of Maslows Hierarchy of Needs. It is a primary lesson if you must know but this must still be written in your reviewer. Examinees tend to forget the simplest concepts there is. The first need is your physiologic need which refers to air, water and food along with medicine and shelter.

Then next in the hierarchy is the need to be safe and secure from the environment along with the personal relationships that one has. The third is your need to love and to be love by the people around you. It is the giving of love and receiving love as well. Fourth is your need for independence and self respect. Last in line is the need for improvement in your self and knowing your qualities.

Then proceed to the nursing process which is the method of providing individualized care to those who need it. First is the collecting of data called assessing. Second process is diagnosing. It is the finding of the problem. Third is the planning or the managing of the problem. Next in line will be the proper implementation of the plan and lastly is the evaluating of result.

The concepts of six rights is also useful. The first is having the right patient by assuring that you have the exact type of patient who will soon be receiving a treatment. Then the right cure that is given and must be the correct type of antidote. You will then need to have the right dose to reduce the prescription mistakes.

Not to be forgotten is having the right time of the day. This is the schedule of the medication that must be attained by the client. The right route signifies the correct route the patient must be in like if he or she is for injection. Having the right documentation is important as well because it reflect the correct information of the client such as his complete name with his type of medication.

The evolution of online media may greatly help you and give you an idea of where to start reviewing or what topics need to be written in NCLEX cheat sheets . But, as a suggestion, it is always better to come up with your own cheat sheet for better understanding. This is not an assurance of course as you will have to do the way that you think can give you great motivation to study.
