A Zombie-Infested World: Do Collection Services Have A Place?

By Rob Sutter

Let's picture this kind of scenario: you're in the middle of what seems to be one of the biggest environments as far as war is concerned. The opposing force is that of the undead, though many would like to refer to them as "zombies." This is the kind of threat that has to be fought off in certain ways and I know that there are fashions to utilize for the sake of defense. It seems like these may be able to come into play with collection services being seen as well.

If combatting zombies seems to be the kind of idea that you can get behind, make sure that you have a number of weapons at the ready. Firearms may just prove to be one level, though, as more can be seen. In fact, think about working with close-range items if you're truly daring to get up close to such beings. I can only imagine, though, that these will all have their prices if a merchant wants to parade them around. What if an extended payment plan was made, for example?

Let's say that you find yourself working as a bodyguard for a group of individuals who cannot defend themselves or may be wounded. You're most likely going to work for them with some kind of incentive set in place. If you charge for such services, you want to make sure that you're able to get the amounts from them right away. Considering the volatile nature of this world, though, it wouldn't surprise me if there was a debt or two that managed to slip through the cracks.

I hope that collection services can be seen in this type of world because of how likely debt is to occur, regardless of how much security is put in place. This is especially true when you consider the idea that the world may be full of those who won't be entirely swift when it comes to making payments. In my mind, this universe seems likely to cause a number of problems. If there was ever a need for reputable agencies such as Rapid Recovery, this would be it.

I think that zombies have proven themselves as entertaining creatures, whether you're talking about TV, film, or what have you. Unlike other monsters, they seem to act in primal ways, not unlike creatures that you would find in the wilderness. Even though they are dangerous, I think it's possible to work against them for the sake of protection. In order to attain some of the best means of survival, though, I believe that debt has to be taken into consideration so that money management is made easier.
