There seems to be a great level of challenge when living in the city but none more so unless you are Spider-Man. Peter Parker certainly has a lot on his plate and it doesn't even begin to include his task of defending people of New York City. On the contrary, Parker still has to live his own life and one of the major aspects of it is being able to make the rent. Due to his difficulties in making certain that it consistently happens, commercial collection agencies may have to be hired.
You may question to yourself, "what reason do commercial collection agencies have to go after someone like Spider-Man?" The city, after all, is not a place that universally adores this character, despite the fact that he has worked to save lives and protect the city from countless dangers. How could companies such as R.R.S. go after him? If you take a moment to think, their attention would not be on the superhero so much as it would be on Peter Parker.
Spider-Man as a character may be popular but for Parker, it's not going to do much when talking about putting bread on the table. There seems to be a great focus on attaining a job while he furthers his photography pursuits as well. I can imagine that making the rent is something that troubles him, considering how many smaller jobs he has been through in the past. Parker most certainly doesn't have it the easiest but I think that's why one would want to look to a collector.
I don't think Parker had it entirely easy once the Black Suit was in his possession in the third Spider-Man film. It seemed like while paying off the rent was a fear of his before, the suit altered his attitude to something more aggressive. At that point, a request for the rent was met with a dark or even snappish change of attitude. It was clear that Parker was taking authority on the matter when normally, one would not have a say on such a matter.
Parker's abilities as both himself and as the enigmatic Spider-Man are useful but how so in the way of legal matters? I think it would be a time when being a superhero would be cast to the wayside and the time to be a responsible adult would surface. It might be tough to support oneself when away from home but I think that's what part of adulthood is about. Parker cannot simply let responsibilities go and he has to be able to cement a true form of income for himself.
