The Last Weed Joint ?

By Carla Ross

Deciding to stop smoking weed is one thing, committing and succeeding is totally a different thing. I know this because I have been through it several times.

There is no shortage of good answers to the question "why quit anyway?". For me as for many others it was financial in essence. I hated it when I find that I have no more money since I spent it all on weed. I did not like either hiding stash and tools, picking up every bit on tables and on the ground whenever I have family members or friends coming to my place. So finally I decided to quit for good.

A clear mind with a body full of energy gave me a OMG moment one morning after I became clean. I suddenly found out that my previous belief that my happiness was dependant on my fix was totally false. On the contrary, I am many folds more happy now than ever.

My health is getting better every day and my social life is taking off. You will not understand this fully until you experience it yourself, especially if you are smoking for many years like i was. Having not to pay a dime for this improvement makes me even happier. Why most people fail then? I know it is hard, but this is not the reason. Most people fail because they are doing it in the WRONG way. The decision and the mindset is important, but not enough. A recent study proved that weed itself is getting stronger, the THC content has doubled in the last 5 years. That's why it is so hard to quit.

So what is it that we have missed ? You have to help your body to get rid of the THC more quickly than your cravings to succeed. Using a detox is the short answer to the one of the most frequently asked questions I receive, what are the ways to stop smoking weed?
