By Faye Hunter

It is surely a common thing for a place offering a lot of amusements to gain lots of visitors. Indeed, i t will be unnatural if the beautiful place is not being enjoyed by other people. Since there are many visitors who will come to a certain place to enjoy the scenery or the amusements, it is only natural to find a lot of Ann Arbor bed and breakfast inns.

It is a requirement for owners to become good hosts. This is so that they can give their guests good memories to treasure for their stay in the inn. In order to keep these guests comfortable, it is only necessary to follow these simple tips.

For the first tip, it is only appropriate for the owner to leave flyers or leaflets of where they can order pizza in the room of the guest. A lot of people who are traveling nowadays find it more appealing to eat pizza while staying at their room. It is also a responsibility of the owner to tell the guest whether it is fine to eat at the patio, at the deck, or at the room.

The staff should be accommodating. This means to say that he should be open to the needs of the guests. If he can, he should always remind the guest that they can ask anything they want. The inn will fulfill the request if it is within their capabilities. For example, the inn can surely provide the guest with extra pillows, blankets, or towels.

As a good host, the owner will have to show off his town too. He should start with showing off the best food in town. If he knows how to cook, he might want to compile the recipe for the food too. However, he should determine beforehand whether he will be charging for the compilation of the recipe or not.

Most of the hosts will also cater to their guests who have interest in their hobby. There are hosts that like to indulge themselves in pottery making or quilt making. If the guests are interested in these activities as well, the host can ask them to go and watch him as he is progressing with his work.

Those inns that have a historic value may want to put together a scrap book. With the scrap book, it should be easy for the guest to know more about the history of the inn that he has chosen to stay in. The scrap book may be displayed in a public area or be placed one copy per room.

The owner should consider making a list of the church service available in the area. If he does compile the list, he should also include the hours for the church service. If they want to attend the service, it will be a lot more better if they know when they should go. This way, he will not put his guest in an embarrassing situation.

Do not forget to be sensitive to the privacy and space that his guests need. They should be given these things so that they can feel at ease. A good Ann Arbor bed and breakfast is one which will allow the guest to feel as if they are staying at their second home while in the said inn.
