The First Thing To Ask Yourself Before Trying To Save Your Relationship

By Hendryl Benyt

Are you wondering how to get your ex back. Well, the truth is, it is certainly possible to get your ex back if you have a plan of action. However, before we go into the plan of action, I think it is very important for you to ask yourself this question first.

Is this relationship worth my time? Is this relationship really worth my time saving?

Here are several guidelines you may find useful.

1) Be honest with yourself. Do you think your friends and family members like your ex?

I understand that you may not care about whether your ex is liked by your friends or family members. What matter to you most is that you love your ex and your ex still loves you. The other things are secondary to you.

Well, a lot of times, people outside the situation can see things clearer than you. If most of your friends and family members do not think highly of your ex, then you may want to think twice and ask yourself whether this relationship is worth saving in the first place.

2) Are you treated very nicely by your ex?

At the moment, you have to ask yourself if your ex is abusing you all these while. Without a doubt, a relationship that is filled with abuse should never be saved. What you should do is to end this relationship as fast as you can.

Do understand that abuse can be verbal as well as physical. Do not underestimate verbal abuse. Because verbal abuse can cause as much damage as physical abuse. So, this is the kind of relationship that is not worth saving and you will be much better off to moved on.

You should never allow your ex to destroy your self esteem.

3) Your ex keeps on cheating on you

A healthy relationship is based on trust. If your ex keeps on cheating on you despite that fact that you have already forgiven him or her a number of times, how are you going to trust your ex again. Chances are they are not going to change their cheating ways. You will probably want to let go of this type of relationship.
