About Behringer EP1500 Power Amplifier

By Clemente Heinl

In order to compare this Behringer cheapy, people from the UK probably would look at Maplins reference amplifiers. Wouldn't it be unfair to compare it with those brands that are way more affluent? This Behringer Europower EP1500 can already fit the personality of someone who has no cash and needs to have great amount of energy.

First thing to notice with this tough unit is its contribution into making a studio looking great with a fabulous piece of kit. Mind you, they are not just any cinema sized studios. The power would eventually idle away nicely driving, perhaps the Tannoy's budget range. Low noise would become loud by its absence.

Behringer makes use of these Fairchild and Toshiba transistors that are really of help to them since these transistors provide this German company great and big value for money. Currently, all are being made in China to the ISO 9000 standard.

Just like the target of EP2500, Behringer also targets audience at a higher level. It would be more comfortable for a pro musician to make use of EP1500 if live shows were performed in small auditorium. It would be great to watch a solo singer or a guitarist to be benefited from having power, fidelity and quality at the high end and does not present with worries about paying back a huge loan. It will be assured that these couple of gigs and this little gem would be paid for.

All Behringer kits are robust and this kit is not an exception. Failure due to physical abuse must not be thought of or be worried on it. Turning the volume without loss of warm textures is no problem as long as the speakers can handle the situation. Though you might want to set your mind and be ready for the lower end since it might not be quite so friendly, but then again, for 2 x 700 Watts at 2 Ohms or 1,400 Watts at 4 Ohms, it's not at all possible to expect it to cope with Sting playing Wembley Arena.

To conclude, the Behringer EP1500 Power Amplifier is all good. Peak LEDs easy to read, speak on connectors and efficient limiters all good, standard stuff and low frequency filters are adjustable and work in tandem with the limiters are just some of the many great things to offer. Very beneficial and helpful. If you have nervous feeling about going on stage and messing up everything then you might want to have one of this little beauty. Save yourself from humiliation and have one now!
