After the death of his mother, he was cared for by his grandfather, Abdul-Muttalib, and later by his uncle, Abu Talib.

2. **Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb:** Before being raised by his grandfather and then uncle, Muhammad spent part of his early childhood in the care of a Bedouin woman named Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb. This period is known as the "Fosterage" (Arabic: "Tahannuth") and is believed to have taken place when he was around four to six years old.
