How to get over negative thoughts? Well first, I am sure that most of you have experienced a scenario where you are far too thrilled about something that you are willing to do whatever it takes to acquire a certain goal, whatever it may be, but the individuals around you even those who are near to you seem to be very doubtful and absolutely non helpful. At first you might say to yourself "they're just over-thinking things" but due to the sheer amount of difficulties you were going through, you gradually started to think that they just might be right, right?
WRONG!
Why would you want to spend the likelihood of you accomplishing a goal that others believed were impossible but YOU were confident enough to convince yourself that you might just be able to do it? Why would you want to let them pull you down and stop you? When you are seeking to achieve your objectives in life, there are bound to be complications, but that certainly does not mean it is not possible.
I'm not sure if you can relate to this story but I'm just going to believe that you can. There is this one wrestling game called "Hell In A Cell" (I probably got the name wrong, its been decades since I last watched wrestling) where a number of wrestlers are put together within the ring enclosed by a walls of steel. There is only one rule to the game, whichever wrestler that manages to climb the walls and get through to the other side will be the winner. If the wrestler get pulled down while going up the wall, he'll end up back inside the ring with the other wrestlers keep beating each other up.
You see, the game of life is very much the same, whenever someone who believes in themselves enough to go after their goals, there are always these other "wrestlers" who will try to pull him back down, back to hell. But really, the key to winning the match is to keep going at it long enough and keep pushing for the goal, in this particular situation, is to get to the other side of the steel wall.
Conquering your mind is not easy, I know exactly how difficult it is when almost everyone close to you are trying to persuade you that you just can't do it. My advice to you is this, try to associate more with positive people, surround yourself with the individuals who are helpful and wants to see you reach your goals. How do you find these people? It is really simple, by doing whatever it is that you have to do to accomplish that particular goal that you desire.
You'll begin noticing that there are actually a lot of individuals who are prepared to be supportive. If you believe in yourself enough you'll discover a powerful purpose on why you are convincing yourself to achieve it and gradually the individuals who are pulling you down will start to accept it.
