Shenandoah Performing Arts Camp of Shenandoah Conservatory

Shenandoah University is known to be a Level 6 private university and was founded in 1875. At that time, it was still known to be Shenandoah Seminary. Today, it offers more than 80 programs and has reached to as much as 3,000 students. The university also has six schools where one of these schools is the Shenandoah Conservatory.

Generally, degrees in theater, music and dance are offered in the Shenandoah Conservatory while degrees for the undergraduate can be acquired as well. Moreover, there are also about 60 degree programs for anyone who wishes to pursue masters, doctor or baccalaureate levels.

Shenandoah Conservatory is noted as the oldest school of Shenandoah University. It is a four-year college institution that also offers performing arts summer camps. The Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp brings various students from across the US.

Participants of the Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp can acquire various instructions for them to carry out for two weeks. A lot of activities are rendered in one camping sessions. Some of these activities are all about ensemble participation and music coaching. Moreover, even private lessons are given to the participants.

Moreover, participants of the program can have the opportunity experience campus life. They can stay in air-conditioned halls, can utilize the dining hall, can receive a festival t-shirt and can watch various performances produced by the institution.

Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp can accept students from middle to high school and offers a lot of lessons. Students can develop or enhance their skills through different programs. These programs include dance, singing, chamber music, piano, harp, jazz and orchestra. They could also form a group as bands. Furthermore, a student can also have a solo performance where he or she can join the Concerto Competition and do solo together with the orchestra.

Aside from performing arts sessions, Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp also provides participants the chance to participate in new programs. A technology class and eurhythmic class are classes offered by the institution recently. Furthermore, the summer arts camp would also like students to participate in various recreational activities to balance the school's offers of artistic experience. Participants can engage in sports, dances and cookouts and can participate in various social activities. They can also have the opportunity to attend a Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre production and can have the chance to watch the performances of high-profile musicians.
