Noticeboards: A Terrific Way To Showcase Things!

By David Crawley

Throughout this age of blackberries, smartphones, e-mail, tweets and other methods of communication, very little really beats a noticeboard. Not everybody has a device where they can receive text messages and not every classroom or boardroom has a computer opposite every chair. So what can be simpler or maybe more efficient than a noticeboard in its own case, put up on a wall in a obvious spot and showcasing the memos, ads, notes and reminders in a way where anyone who needs to see them can?

Sizes
They come in many sizes, from A4 size (210 297 mm) to any size the customer may require. They are a long lasting, visual and effective.

Makes
It can be made from cork, felt, vinyl and metal and can appear in colours of blue, gray, red or green. On cork and fabric boards notices, flyers and other messages may be put up by using tacks. Cloth boards even allow for Velcro fasteners. The frames is often solid aluminium, oak or graphite, with round or rectangular corners, a marker tray, and two small, flexible wall hooks. Some also come in their own cabinets, while others, intended to be used in cafeterias, break rooms or schoolrooms, are open faced.

One steel noticeboard is made of iron, is magnetic and even comes with colourful magnets and picture frames. Another board, likewise in its own framework, is set with safety glass, the rubber seal is safe from nature's elements and it comes with a pair of keys for the safety locks. It's available in 4 sizes that can hold different amounts of A4 sheets, it is primarily used to exhibit items that can't be touched or taken.

Another kind of fabric board might include a bronze shaded aluminium framework. The felt surface area is 1 mm deep, with an interlayer of corrugated cardboard. In addition, it comes with stainless-steel hooks for hanging, and plastic corners. One vinyl board just for outdoor usage comes with an aluminium frame with tamper resistant tumbler locks and shatter proof acrylic windows. This board also includes vinyl letters to showcase a slogan, or the name of the corporation.

One rather fancy noticeboard can be updated from any computer with an access to the internet, is available in many sizes, and can be remotely controlled; this is where the modern meets the old fashioned. The screen is ruby red and the lettering is in white so it's easy to read. There are also LED display boards that are good for advertising. The screens are made of tempered glass, and the messages are controlled by a circuit board. Because it's meant to be used outside, this board also has a PVC frame and is able to stand up against a strong wind.

However, if such boards are too intimidating, there are also old fashioned blackboards and green boards on offer, though some aren't made out of traditional slate but aluminium alloy, porcelain steel, or laminate. Some still use chalk and their companies offer multicoloured packages.
No matter what kind you require for your office, there are many options for you to choose from and you will be able to find the style that is perfect for you!
