Enjoy Many Free Things On The Gold Coast

By Cordelia Kennedy

Most any new place you visit while on vacation or holiday, you will find several attractions that can get pretty expensive if you decide to indulge. Or you can do a little investigating and find some very good free attraction to enjoy and save your money for other vacation things. The Gold Coast is no exception to this vacationing rule. There are several fine exciting and fun attractions that are readily available for your enjoyment or you can seek out and enjoy the equally enjoyable attractions that are free to enjoy.

You can start your adventure with the uniqueness of the O'Reilly's Tree Top Walk attraction. This is a great place to enjoy the incredible natural lush surroundings and towering trees. The closest thing to this walk in the tree tops, would be to walk in the clouds and get a birds eye view of the rain forest floor below. One of the really great things about this attraction is that it is free to enjoy and there are other great exploring opportunities while in the rain forest.

The Gold Coast beaches are not incredible, but they are free as well. The sunsets, sunrises and moonlight settings of these spectacular ocean beach walks will bring you closer to the tranquility experience that only nature can provide. This natural splendor is available night or day and is free, all that is required is your time. The beaches at Surfers Paradise and Currumbin have in store an extra special treat of culture inspired sculptures that make the beach exploration more special and is free as well.

There are so many unique and offbeat shops on the Gold Coast that shopping can be a lot of fun without spending a lot of money. Window shopping can be great fun and with the many area merchants peddling their unique artwork, crafts, and local produce you can have loads of fun just walking around the small shops enjoying the smells that come from the small roadside cafes.

Visiting an Art Gallery or Museum can be a wonderful and free way to spend the day. On the coast you will find that the Gold Coast Sporting Hall of Fame is one that attracts many visitors mostly because there are so many sports fans throughout this region and the world. Of course if you are into art then you may want to check out the Gold Coast City Art Gallery which will offer you a free and unique look at both world renowned artists and the works of local artists as well. Even visiting the Gold Coast on a budget can be an incredible adventure. So if you can scrape together enough pennies for the airfare then visit this exotic location. It has much to offer visitors even on a limited budget.
